What flower is this? - 2007/12/05 11:15 It is a succulent, it does not have a bulb. it has roots and grows by a piece
I am really confused .. I now have about 5 of them as one was getting too large so cut it down and planted the bits

Re:What flower is this? - 2007/12/08 03:15 This looks like what I know as a "Bird's Nest Philodendron",
it's a species Philodendron, but I can't tell you the specific species name.

Here are some examples of Philodendron flowers
(Click HERE) for comparison.

Your plant does bear some resemblance to P.campii,
but I'm not at all sure that's it.

Even if I dont actually know the species.. I am still so happy to know ..

And I would never have thought philodendron because I always thought they were those big leafed 'elephant ear fern type things'

can you tell I am not good with plants

I know just what you mean
about the appearance of Philodendron plants,
it's a large and varied group
and it's amazing how something that looks so different
can still be a family member -
