Solar Security is a natural choice when deciding what type of electricity to deploy to keep up with our growing needs.Building-integrated PhotoVoltaics [BI-PV] provides the highest and best use of land while assuring electricity reliability with demand-site fuel-free non-polluting solar electricity.
The blue rooftop shown in my Profile PhotoGraph is a 30,000 SF BI-PV solar rooftop on the Intercultural Center of Georgetown University in Washington, DC. It was installed in 1984 and generates a megawatt of solar electricity on the average daily. How much electricity would it generate in your community?
The crib cycle uses PhotoSynThesis in plants to produce energy and starches. A man-made diode uses the crib cycle to produce solar electricity from the light of the sun.
No ---we can't change the world overnight. But, with responsible investments, we can begin to change our electricity consumption habits in a decade.
