My new tropical flower galleries - 2007/03/22 03:48 Hi fellow flower lovers,

I just created some new photo galleries full of tropical flowers. These include wildflowers I photographed while trekking in remote areas of Thailand. Also, photos I took at the Chiang Mai Royal Flora Expo in December, 2006. Comments welcome! Enjoy!

Thanks, glad you liked them. I've identified most of the California species, however I haven't had the time to document the names and locations. As for the tropical flowers, some of the species appear to be common (like the wild poinsettias). But many of the tropicals are so exotic they don't appear to be documented. So unfortunately I'll probably never ID them.

Re:My new tropical flower galleries - 2007/03/23 22:26 No, I'm not a grower. But fortunately there are lots of interesting wildflowers here in in N. CA within a few miles of my home. I found and photographed nearly 200 species in the last 18 months.
