office gardens - 2009/11/09 02:33 What kind of plants are you keeping in your office, I keep several mainly tropicals, like "peace lilly" Spathiphyllum, she is grate in the office, always blooming. also a bromelia and two orchis catalya ( green but no flowers, also an aloe plant bigger than life. What about you? what are you keeping on your window or at your office. Please share your thoughts.

office gardens - 2009/11/09 20:23 Ive had water hyacinths. I now have koki'o ula which is a native hawaiian red hibiscus that is endemic to hawaii. Some Pakalana and I had a variety of other plants.

Re:office gardens - 2011/05/24 18:51 I do grow some flowers in my house , but not so good , when I have time , I take them out of my house ,in the sun ,the wavelength of red 630-660nm is necessary for flowers in flowering period , it make the flowers more beautiful , like a pretty girl's smile ,bring your a warm felling .....

Re:office gardens - 2011/05/26 17:19 Sunlight have IR, and UV ,and other spetrums , but IR and UV are not used by plant in photosynthesis ,
All plants prefer red first ,then blue and white ,
The wavelength of 630-660nm is the spectrum of red , especally in the flowering period , plants need a lot of red , do you know how to make the flowers more excellent ?
