help identify flower - 2008/06/09 06:10
This trumpet shaped flower is from a small bush. The leaves are long about 6-8 inches (like oleander). It flowers profusely in the indian summer. Blooms in the morning and the flowers last just one day. They seem to be made of crinkled tissue paper. I have also seen this flower in light purple (mauve) apart from the enclosed pink. I have also been told it also comes with white flowers. I bought a plant last summer and it produced so many offshoots that i now have it all over my garden. It also produced seeds(like chillie seeds) in small pods abt 2 cms long. The seeds germinated with ease. I want to know more aboutthis plant. So if anybody can tell me its name, I will be obliged. I have added picture in the photo gallery under the nname identify
