White flower - 2009/09/02 13:12 Hi there!

I hope this is ok posting here; I don't know if Fort Rock in Oregon technically counts as tropical! Trying to ID this flower is driving me up the wall. The area is mostly volcanic rock so it was a nice surprise to see such a beautiful plant growing there!

You're right that this is not a "tropical" flower,
but it's definitely okay posting it here, we aren't fussy that way.

This plant is Lewisia rediviva, I believe.
