Re:Unknow Magnetic Is. Inhabitant - 2009/08/20 07:44 i can't figure this out. anyway the flower looks to be from a dicot. brilliant yellow flowers that become a brick sort of orangy color towards the center. The orange is interrupted by a band of black. not sure if they are perfect or imperfect.

I think that this is a cultivar of Gazania rigens.
