Help! Anyone knows what flower this is? - 2009/07/19 11:29 Hi! I can't find the name to this plant. I have been growing them in my front garden for awhile now. I would really appreciate it if anyone could tell me what species this angiosperm is?

I'm sorry, but I do not recognize the plant in your photo on sight.
I'd be happy to see if I can help to figure it out,
but a bit more information might help.

What part of the world is this plant growing in?
It it tropical or temperate?
Is this plant a tree or a woody shrub - evergreen, deciduous or herbaceous?
Is the foliage in the photo growing on the same plant?Does it bloom over a long period of time, or just in one season?

Re:Help! Anyone knows what flower this is? - 2009/07/20 04:18 Hi! This flower is not woody and is a crawler, it is evergreen and it is tropical (I live in Borneo). It blooms twice now since March. It sheds its petals a few weeks after it blooms.

unfortunately, now I can't see your photo.
The link appears to be broken.

So, I'm just making my best guess from memory.

Perhaps the plant in question was (double flowering) Quisqualis indica, commonly called "Rangoon Creeper".
