Oh, sorry, I had made a reply to your picture in our site photo album: I believe this is Chorisia speciosa (also known as Ceiba speciosa) - commonly called "Silk Floss Tree" or "Bombax" The difference in petal count could, perhaps, be an anomaly, such things are not unusual in many species.
