Help finding a plant with white flowers...

Bunny shaped flower - 2009/03/08 05:16 Please if someone can help, this will mean a lot to me. S A young child I was raised by my live-in nanny. She has since passed. I recently bought my first house and have started to plant the same flowers & plants I remember her planting. There is however one plant I cannot identify. The only description is that it flowers in an elongated stalk similar to the bluebonnet but is significantly more delicate and smaller. Its color is from Blue to Purple & Light Pink to Pink in color. The most noticeable thing I remember are the flowers which resemble the head of a bunny. She called them bunny heads, but Im sure this is not the name. This will mean alot to me to identify....

What Flower Is This?

Re:Bunny shaped flower - 2009/03/08 09:00 That's it!!!!!Thanks! Awesome!!!

Well the garden is in the beginning stages, I just bought seeds for Morning Glories, Giant Sunflowers & Marigolds. I have also started growing a pineapple top. To me gardening basically gives me a goal to follow through continuing the memories I had as a child and will give me a sense of accomplishment to bring something to fruition.Believe me with my work I hardly have time for anything, and this makes me get out and relax through hard work instead of stress through it. I am m surprised how I had such a hard time and could not find this flower. Thank you very much.

Re:Bunny shaped flower - 2009/03/09 00:46 You are most welcome, glad that I could help.

I can't think of any better way to de-stress and re-ground oneself than by "playing" in a garden.
It's the perfect way to unwind and get your mind and body ready for the next challenge.

Keeping your garden manageable by controlling the size and incorporating non-demanding plants keeps it from adding to life's stress.
