Can anyone identify this japanese flower? - 2008/09/25 19:06
Hi, I was in japan for 4 weeks this summer and came across this crazy japanese flower which I took a few pictures of. It had green leaves spread out from the center. On top of it were these thin white sprouts, purple in the center, white in the middle ,light blue at the tip. In the center was a ring of purple and then inside of that wre those same white/purple/blue stringy things that spiraled upwards into these green sprouts (5 or so) with what looks like beans hanging on each end, then a purple sprout in 3 different directions with bulbous tips.
